My original idea about the
model is using mountains as a dress to show that women are beautiful when they
are natural. I think mountains are representing nature, and the girl has a
happy face means women are supposed to be happy and not afraid to show people their
true self. My group members told me I have a really good idea behind the model,
and the texture of the girl’s curly hair is compatible to the texture of the
mountains, then they suggest me it is better to add some tree branches on the
head and hand to make it more connect with nature. To me, I think the idea of
branches is very great, thanks to my awesome members! So I come up with the
design. I used different branches to make it into the shape of a wedding veil, also
I added some tree leaves as decorations.
I chose the mountain as a dress to make it like a dress, and then I decided
to add some of the branches on the woman’s head to make it into a shape of a
wedding veil. When I made the design, I put a lot of effort on the shape and
direction of the branches, also I have to stretch it in different length and
angles to make it not stubborn. In the end, I also add some leaves to make it
more vivid. It related to remix culture because I combine the separate ideas
such as the mountain, the body of the girl and also connect the branches with
the girl’s head. I merging those different ideas together to create a meaning
that women are beautiful when they are natural.
In short, I really like this one because I put a lot of effort on this
and it is cool and has meaning behind it.
